WHAT IS SAPONETTI?
Saponetti is a zero-waste soap and cleaning supply company based in Toronto. We keep things hyper-local, sourcing exclusively Canadian products and focusing on serving our immediate community. With both in-store shopping and local refill delivery, we make it easy to choose eco-friendly products that support people and planet.

Refill Service
How does your refill delivery system work?
Our refill products are delivered in refundable durable containers allowing you to refill your pre-existing containers at home and at your convenience. Empty containers are collected on subsequent deliveries to be cleaned, sanitized, and refilled, closing the loop on single-use packaging.
Can I refill my own containers in person?
Absolutely! Bring your clean, dry containers to our retail store. We will weigh (tare) your empties and fill according to your instructions. We are a full-service refill service, meaning we take care of the refills for you.
How does the refill service work?
Our refill service operates seamlessly: We deliver your chosen products in refillable jars right to your doorstep. Once you’ve used the contents, we take back the empty jars on your next delivery. These jars are then thoroughly cleaned and refilled, ready to be used again.

What types of products does Saponetti offer?
Saponetti offers a wide range of cleaning products including laundry detergents, dish soaps, hand and body soaps, and household cleaners. We focus on eco-friendly and skin-friendly formulations.
How do your cleaning products compare in effectiveness to conventional single-use plastic packaged alternatives?
Our refillable cleaning products deliver the same level of effectiveness as conventional single-use packaged products available in the market.
Do your products contain any allergens or harsh chemicals?
Our products are formulated to be gentle and safe, avoiding harsh chemicals. Specific allergen information can be found on the product labels and our website.
I have sensitivities to fragrances. Do you offer scent-free options?
We provide a range of fragrance-free options across all our product categories, as well as DIY household cleaning ingredients.
Are there fragrance-free options available?
Yes, we offer fragrance-free options alongside our scented products, which use natural essential oils for fragrance.
What ingredients are used in your soaps?
Our soaps are made from biodegradable and plant-based ingredients.
What eco-friendly certifications or accreditations do your products carry?
We carry a range of brands and products. Certifications and accreditations include B Corp, Leaping Bunny, EcoCert, Health Canada DIN registered solutions.
Orders & Shipping
How do I place an order?
Orders can be placed directly through our website. Just check if you are within our delivery zone, select your products, and choose your delivery or pick-up options at checkout.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept major credit cards, and other digital payment methods listed on our checkout page. We’re currently not able to process PayPal but we’re working on integrating it soon.
Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
You can modify or cancel your order by contacting our customer service before Tuesday 5pm, for same week delivery.
Do you offer delivery, and what are the delivery zones?
We offer delivery within specific zones in Toronto. Check if your address is within our delivery zone.
How will I know when my order will be delivered?
If you place your order by Wednesday 7 pm, you will receive your delivery on Sunday morning.
What are the shipping costs for online orders?
Shipping costs $8 for orders below $85 (after discounts and deposit coupons). For orders of $85 or more, shipping is free.
Online Orders & Returns
How do I place an online order with Saponetti?
Visit our website, choose your products, and add them to your cart. During checkout, you can register for an account and opt-in for newsletters.
What payment methods are accepted for online orders?
Saponetti accepts all major credit cards and debit cards for online orders.
Can I modify or cancel my online order once it’s placed?
You can modify or cancel your online order up until Friday at 7 pm by contacting our customer service team.
What should I do if there’s a problem with my online order?
If there are any issues such as missing or damaged items, contact customer service.
How are returns handled for online purchases?
We accept returns of unopened products under certain conditions.

Jar Deposits & Points
How does the deposit and points system work for returns?
When you buy a product in a jar or jug from us, we turn the deposit fee into loyalty points (125 points for jars and 500 points for jugs) that go right into your account. You can use these points at checkout to save on future purchases.
Packaging & Sustainability
How does Saponetti minimize environmental impact with packaging?
We use refundable glass jars and other containers that customers return for refills. We also use electric vehicles for deliveries to reduce carbon emissions.
What should I do with empty containers?
Rinse and return them during your next delivery or in-store visit.
Can I return jars and bottles for refills?
Absolutely, our deposit system is designed to ensure jars and bottles are returned, sanitized, and reused, supporting the circular economy.
